Inspired by the Federal Government’s mandate to advance technology and innovation within the construction industry, including the promotion of modular housing built from local sources.

Studio PA have had meetings with members of parliament and their representative as well as a Council member from the City of Victoria.

Studio PA reached out to both BC’s Minister of Housing and the Federal Members of Parliament for Esquimalt—Saanich—Sooke Hon. Stephany McLean and Victoria’s MP Will Greaves to express our growing concern about the prolonged and increasingly complex municipal approval processes faced by architects and developers.

On a regular basis, we see projects circulating through municipal approval processes for two years or more before receiving approval — timelines that undermine innovation and delay much-needed housing delivery, leading to unnecessary costs and added uncertainty for projects.
